Duration of SGMC Trivandrum MD MS Diploma Courses 2015 

The duration of the course including University Exam is 3 years in the case of degree courses and 2 years in the case of diploma courses

There shall be course deduction of one year in the duration of PG degree courses in respect of candidates who have done PG diploma course of two years and awarded diploma in the same subject

Eligibility Criteria for SGMC Trivandrum MD MS Diploma Courses 2015:

Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/children or dependents of Non Resident Indians

(i) Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed the MBBS Degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto with eligibility for full registration in respect of all courses

Applicants who have completed the Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) on or before 31st March 2015 are eligible to apply; but admission to the candidates will be given only after obtaining registration of Travancore Cochin Medical Council/Medical Council of India Applicants must meet all the requirements that may be stipulated by Medical Council of India and Kerala University of Health Sciences, from time to time

(ii) In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from Foreign University, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary/permanent registration for the duration of the PG training restricted to the college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for the PG studies

(iii) No condonation of internship (CRRI) will be accepted

(iv) In order to be eligible for admission under Management quota seats to any post graduate course in the year 2015, the candidate should qualify in the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 2015 (AIPGMEE 2015) /PG Medical Entrance Exam 2015 (PGMEE 2015) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Exam (CEE) by securing not less than 50% marks
In the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks shall be 40%. In the case of physically handicapped candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%

In the event of non-availability of required number of candidates who have qualified AIPGMEE-2015 & PGMEE-2015 among the applicants for admission to be made by management candidates qualified in other entrance exams conducted by competent authorities/Universities at National level as specified in MCI Regulations will be considered for admission, taking into account the marks secured in such entrance exam, marks secured in MBBS exam and number of attempts to pass MBBS exam

Fee Structure for Mgmt. Quota Seats (Other than NRI quota)

1) PG Degree Courses in Clinical Subjects - Rs 17,50,000/- per annum
2) PG Diploma Courses in Clinical Subjects - Rs 13,12,500/- per annum
3) PG Degree Courses in Para Medical Subjects - Rs 10, 00,000/- per annum
4) PG Degree Courses in Pre-clinical Subjects - Rs 5, 00,000/- per annum

Tuition Fee for NRI quota seats shall be double that of the fee for Management Seats

The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the website of the college www.sgmc.in
Application forms and prospectus can also be obtained from the college office on payment of Rs.1000/- (One thousand only)
Since the application forms are available from the website, the same will not be sent to candidates by post; the application shall be submitted as detailed below:
Completed application form should be submitted with all required documents and demand draft to the Principals office of thecollege before 05.00 pm on 16th May 2015
i) Application form can be submitted using the form available along with the prospectus
ii) The application form can be submitted online on the website of the College www.sgmc.in from 07th May 2015 onwards

A print out of the online application with copies of required documents affixing the photograph and signature shall be submitted along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn in favour of Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation payable at Thiruvananthapuram

Applications submitted should be complete in all respects

Incomplete applications will stand rejected

Applicant will not be allowed to include any information in the application form, nor submit any certificates/documents, later

Original documents required at the time of Counseling/Admission: While reporting for admission, all the relevant certificates/documents (Originals) listed below should be submitted to the Institution and the same will be returned to the candidates only at the time of leaving the Institution

(i) Admit Card and Score Card of the AIPGMEE 2015/PGMEE 2015/other Entrance Test qualified; (ii) MBBS Pass/Degree Certificate from the concerned University; (iii) Attempt certificate issued by the Principal of the College where the candidate had studied; (iv) Certificate from the Head of the Institution from where the candidate has passed his MBBS degree indicating the MCI approval number and date; (v) Completion of Internship certificate; if a candidate has completed his/her Internship from a non-teaching Institution, a certificate to prove the recognition of the center; (vi) Registration certificate from the MCI or/ State Medical Council; (vii) SSLC Certificate; (viii) Proof of Date of Birth (if applicable); (ix) Plus Two/Higher Secondary Certificate and/or Mark Sheet; (xii) Nativity Certificate (if applicable); (xiii) Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution last studied; (xiv) Migration certificate from the University last attended (if applicable); (xv) Certificate of Eligibility/Equivalency certificate from KUHS for candidates who have passed MBBS from Universities outside Kerala; (xvi) Demand Draft covering the Tuition fees; (xvii) Passport size photographs (8 Numbers); (xviii) Conduct Certificate from the principal of the Medical College where the candidate last studied
