Sri Devaraj URS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka, Kolar, Karnataka will be conducting an All India Entrance Test for admissions to Post Graduate Medical courses for the academic year 2014-15 on 19th Jan 2014

M.D.: Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Radio Diagnosis/Radiolog

M.S.: General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Diploma Courses: Anaesthesiology (DA), Child Health (DCH), Radio-Diagnosis (DMRD), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO), Orthopaedics (D.Ortho), Otolaryngology (DLO), Ophthalmology (DO)

Eligibility Criteria:

Degree/Diploma Programs: Applicants must meet all requirements of eligibility stipulated by Medical Council of India (MCI)

They should be holders of recognized medical qualification as per Medical Council of India Act and must have completed or completing their internship by 30th Apr 2014

MCI Regulations:

Every student, selected for admission to a Post Graduate medical course in any of the medical institutions on acquiring MBBS Degree or an equivalent qualification thereto shall have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India, or any of the State Medical Councils or shall obtain the same within a period of one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which his/her admission shall stand cancelled

As per the post graduate regulation 2000 of medical council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test (SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15) for eligibility for admission to post graduate courses shall be 50% for candidates belonging to General Category and 40% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCIn the case of a foreign national, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college / institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies; Provided further, that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subjected to the condition that such person is duly registered as medical practitioner in his own country from which the applicant has obtained his/her basic medical qualification and that his/her degree is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority

Rank list/Rank Card will be prepared only for those students who are eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses as per the Medical Council of India Post Graduate Regulations

The Academy reserves the right to approve the admission of the candidate after verifying all the original documents of the applicants. Mere possession of Rank and Rank card does not qualify an applicant for claiming a seat

Entrance Exam Test: SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15

Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research will conduct an entrance test SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15, for candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate courses in medical subjects and the admission will be granted based on the inter se merit determined in said test

The SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15 test scores are valid only for admissions for the academic year 2014-15

The SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15 will be conducted at centers in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka on 19th Jan 2014

The test venue will be mentioned in the candidate’s Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT) and also on the website under every candidate’s individual login for applicant

The test admission ticket (TAT) would be dispatched to the candidate by speed post at the address mentioned in his/her application form

The online test admission ticket will be uploaded on web by 08th Jan 2014

Candidates who are not able to download the online test admission tickets must contact helpdesk on or before 14th Jan 2014, must contact helpdesk at Ph: 08152-243247 or at email: pgentrance@sduu.ac.into have the details on the status of the online test admission ticket

Candidates can also view their test centre details in the SDUAHER website www.sduu.ac.in through applicant login

Application Form:

The online application form has to be filled up properly and completely

Take a printout of the filled in application form and date of birth certificate/identity proof for candidate’s copy and SDUAHER copy

The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned in the checklist

The application can be submitted in person (for which acknowledgement has to be obtained) or by post addressed to: The Registrar, P.G. Admission Cell, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka, Kolar-563101, Karnataka, India to reach on or before 06th Jan 2014, (05.00 p.m.)
Ensure that the demand draft for Rs.1500/- (Rs one thousand five hundred only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar (payable at Kolar) is enclosed
Super scribe the envelope at the top SDUAHER-AIPGMET-2014-15 application form

Additional photographs (Six numbers, mention your name and application number on the reverse side of each photograph

Attested Photocopy of Degree certificate /Provisional degree certificate; internship completion certificate /A certificate indicating the exact date of completion of internship from the Head of Institution; registration Certificate from MCI/State Medical Councils (if not registered, the provisional registration certificate along with an undertaking to be attached stating that the certificate will be made available within a month from the date of admission)

This is binding as per MCI regulations; Attempt Certificates; all marks cards including that of failed year/semester if any (First Year/Semester to Final Year/Semester); certificate of MCI recognition status of MBBS qualification issued by the Head of Institutions; attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificates issued by competent authority
