Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Post-Graduate Degree courses in Medicine and Surgical specialities of 3 years duration (M.D./M.S. Courses) for the academic year 2014-15 at Chettinad University Hospital and Research Institute

No domicile restriction, and candidates belonging to any State/Union Territory of India can apply

M.D. Pre and Pare Clinical Courses (Permitted by Medical Council of India, New Delhi)

M.D: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community medicine

M.D. and M.S Clinical Courses (Permitted by Medical Council of India, New Delhi)

M.D. General Medicine, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy, Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Radio-diagnosis; M.S. Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT

Eligibility to appear for the All India Level Common Entrance Exam for M.D/M.S Courses

Candidates must have qualified in MBBS Degree Courses from a Medical College recognized by Medical Council of India

Must have completed C.R.R.I. on or before 31st Mar 2014

Must have obtained Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council

Exam Centres: Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Padur Kelambakkam-603103, Kancheepuram District

The duly filled in application from with relevant copies of documents should reach

Hall Ticket: Hall Tickets will be issued at Registrar’s office, Administrative Block, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education one day before the All India Level Common Entrance Examination

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured in the All India level common entrance examination conducted by Chettinad University

How to Apply:

Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, on payment of Rs.2000/- (Rs two thousand only) by cash or by means to Demand Draft

If the application form is downloaded from the university’s , a demand draft for the amount drawn in favour of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education” payable at Chennai to be enclosed
Photos copies of the following certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be enclosed along with the application form for Entrance Examination: MBBS Degree Certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate-I and II, Mark sheets of the University Examination for the whole of the MBBS Course, Attempt Certificate (First year to Final year wherever applicable), Community Certificate, Internship Certificate (CRRI), Permanent Registration Certificate issued by Medical Council of India or respective State Medical Council, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate (wherever applicable) and Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last studies

The duly filled in application form should reach the Registrar, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chettinad Health City Campus, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Padur, Kelambakkam-603103, Kancheepuram Distt on or before 11th Jan 2014, Saturday, 05.00 p.m.

Last date for submission of application: 11th Jan 2014 (Saturday) till 05.00 p.m.

Date and Time of All India Level Common Entrance Exam: 29th Jan 2014 (Wednesday) and 10.30 a.m.to 01.00 p.m.
